MedicalStudio is a multi-platform framework for visualization and processing of medical image. It's based on popular open source libraries such as VTK for visualisation, ITK for image processing, GTK for graphical user interface and DCMTK for Dicom compatibility. MedicalStudio is built on a very usefull plugin architecture allowing easy integration of new functionalities or replacement of existant one without breaching other functionalities. This architecture gives all the power to developpers while leaving easy access to a wide range of functionalities to end-users. |
We are pleased to announce that MedicalStudio has won the "Best Paper" award in the "Complete Work" category at "Workshop de Informàtica Médica (WIM) 2007 held in Porto de Galinhas, Brasil.

Sorry for this long delay since last version !
I currently have a lot of work, but your patience will soon be rewarded. A new version of MedicalStudio will be released late June or early July ! With a lot of bug fixes and new functionalities. The most promising new component is the Algorithm Framework, which allows very simplistic integration of new algorithms and automatically creates the graphical user interface for it. (somewhat similar to the 3D Slicer 3 Execution Model).
Waiting for that, don't hesitate to create you an account on this brand new website. And don't hesitate to post subjects on the forum :-)
