MedicalStudio

DICOM is the most standard way to exchange images in medical applications. From start MedicalStudio has always had a very basic support of this format, only by file browser. That was not very usable.

A new support is currently implemented into the framework. Full support of image modalities and networking options of the standard are planned. At this moment, a simple worklist manager has been implemented and allows to browser series by patient's name, or other tags found in the header. Another tool also implemented allows to browse all the tags of an instance file.

Packages for the latest Ubuntu are finally available in our repository. Theses packages depends on all possible officials Ubuntu packages. Thus VTK 5.0.4 and ITK 3.10.0 from Ubuntu official repository are used.

The package repository for Ubuntu 9.04 is :

Installer for Microsoft Windows platform is finally back !

Freshly compiled with the latest version from the SVN and a completely new graphical theme. This new theme is dark, and so, less annoying when viewing medical images in dark room. It's a matter of taste, next release I hope to add a theme selector.

Sorry for this long delay since last version ! 

I currently have a lot of work, but your patience will soon be rewarded. A new version of MedicalStudio will be released late June or early July ! With a lot of bug fixes and new functionalities. The most promising new component is the Algorithm Framework, which allows very simplistic integration of new algorithms and automatically creates the graphical user interface for it.  (somewhat similar to the 3D Slicer 3 Execution Model).

Waiting for that, don't hesitate to create you an account on this brand new website. And don't hesitate to post subjects on the forum :-)
